Here are a few answers to our most common questions:
HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE COURSE?
You will be granted 18 months' access immediately upon registering.
HOW IS THE COURSE DELIEVERED?
Each unit has micro-video lessons and notes to fill in. Homework is given (just a few questions, with solutions) to ensure understanding and get you in the habit of doing homework.
ARE THERE PRE-REQUISITES?
Anyone can officially enroll. Ideally, you would have wanted to complete the previous course in day school.
WHICH CURRICULUM DOES THE COURSE FOLLOW?
We cater to the Ontario math curriculum. This course is ideal for high school math students in Ontario, but the math curriculum across Canada is very similar. Here is a link to the Ontario math curriculum.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE IN TUTOR PACKAGES?
You can purchase discounted tutor packages to save some money and get help through the course. You can not upgrade from the 5 session package to the 10 session package or vice versa.
WILL THE A-LA-CART COVER THE ALL THE MATERIAL IN THE PREP COURSE?
This is dependent on the student's ability to digest the material and time commitment to do a certain number of lessons/sessions in a week. Usually this is the slower route yielding in less material being covered.
CAN I EARN A HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT?
Unfortunately not. We also don't recommend any other way of completing high school math courses other than in day school. This is where you will get the best experience learning math.
